Spelling cutie

My husband has charmed me in many ways over the years, and all of them are quite wonderful. One, however, is also amusing...

His poor spelling.

He never did learn to spell properly, even though he's a smart guy. He's not really a words person anyway, he's more numbers and practical smarts.

Here are some of my very favorites:

Thys

Squerl

And most recent one, which inspired this post...

Ostrage

I love him so much. *g*

Spelling skill is an inborn talent, sort of like athletic prowess or virtuosity with a musical instrument. Interestingly enough, spelling has morphed much over the ages, and for all we know, your husband is simply on the cutting edge of the future.

Hilarious. I still make silly spelling mistakes. I once used spell check and simply clicked 'change' without reviewing the changes.

Well, a word was changed that was embarrassing (I probably shouldn't write it) and I went ahead and published the short article online. Readers had to comment and ask if I was trying to be funny or if it was a typo. Some got a laugh while others were a bit offended
